Text Box: After auditioning all year groups, and witnessing some wonderful talents! We have finally whittled down our list to the successful 12 acts! These Students know who they are and Mrs Fullerton and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to ALL the students who came forward, and came to auditions, in their own time, and gave so much… If we had more time we would have picked you all, but unfortunately we do have a time limit and we could only choose 12 acts. We have tried to pick a variety of people who had different talents to offer, such as … Singing, Dancing, Rapping, Playing Instruments… etc and if all goes to plan, it should be a very enjoyable evening. We have a few surprises up our sleeves! So when the posters go up around school about ticket prices and where and when you can purchase them, please do buy a ticket, and come along to support not only a good cause (You’re School and the Little Haven children’s Hospice) but also your fellow students Its never easy getting up in front of a live audience, and the more of their friends they see sitting out front cheering them on, the better! This talent show is in memory of a boy who was always full of life, always had a zest for life, and whom would of loved to have taken part in anything like this at his time of being a Sydney Russell student… This is a celebration of Luke’s life, and his love of singing and dancing and enjoying himself… Which is exactly what we intend to do on the night… So leave your hankies at home, and come have fun and sing-a-long with the many talents we have performing on the night… Ticket information will follow very soon. Monday	31st October	Return to School after half-term break (at normal time - 8.50 a.m.) School Photographer in school all day to take student photographs
Wednesday	2nd November	7.00 p.m. PTFA Committee Meeting
Friday	4th November	Years 10 and 11 Progress Cards sent home
Wednesday	9th November	Pastoral Review Day - All Students only attend school at their appointed time with parents to discuss their progress (date to be finally confirmed)
Saturday	12th November	PTFA Boot Sale
Thursday	17th November	Sixth Form Information Evening for Year 11 Parents
Saturday	19th November	7.30 p.m. PTFA Quiz Night (to be confirmed)
Thursday	1st December	7.00 p.m. Evening of Seasonal Entertainment
Thursday	8th December	Year 11 GCSE Mock exams begin (until end of term)
Thursday	15th December	Year 9 Mock SATs exams - for 2 days
Friday	16th December	Last Day of School before Christmas Holiday. Students will be dismissed at approximately Midday.
Wednesday	4th January	Return to school after Christmas Holiday (at normal time - 8.50 am)
