Kentwell Hall Visit

Year 7 Gifted and Talented cohort and Sydney Russell’s History club had the unique opportunity to visit the magnificent Kentwell Hall in June of this year. Kentwell is a very much lived-in and loved family home, something it has been for over 500 years. Sydney Russell students were able to see much of the House, including rooms used by the family, visit its Gardens which form a traditional style farm within the Manor. Students take part in a re-enactment of Tudor times. Students went back in time through the ‘time tunnel’ to 1588 as the Spanish were about to invade and Elizabeth I was on the throne.
